Hall Bookings

We're delighted that you are thinking of booking our main hall and we want to help you make sure that your event is successful as possible, so do please get in touch if you have any questions or need further assistance.

First of all, check the Calendar of Events page to check if your proposed date is free - we try to update the Calendar each week.

Below you will find further information about how to make you booking, along with the terms and conditions that will apply when using the Hall and its facilities. Do please make yourself familiar with these before you make your booking.

Smaller Space

If you are looking something a little smaller perhaps for a commitee meeting or workshop, we can divide the mall hall into two seperate areas. Please contact Anne Chapman on (01432) 263769 or by e-mail at [email protected] for further information.

Deposits

Deposits are payable for all bookings and the initial meeting of regular bookings. A booking is only confirmed on receipt of deposit.

Initial deposit: the lesser amount of the letting fee or £50, with multi-day events requiring a deposit of £50/day (e.g. a 3-day wedding booking would pay £150 deposit).

Payments

Payment for bookings is required 14 days before event, regular bookings within 28 days of invoice.

A late payment penalty of £1/hour extra applied to lettings in the next invoiced month, incrementing each month of late payment.

In the case where a one-off event hasn’t paid the full fee (due 14-days in advance) 7 days before, we shall contact the hirer asking for their bank details to refund the deposit and cancel the booking. The Key code will not be given until full payment is received or the first month of a regular booking.

If a group fails to meet payment dates their hire rate for the new invoicing period increases by £1/hour.
